Ceramic Bulb Making Popping Noise

There is ceramic tile on the floor in the second floor bath.
Ceramic bulb making popping noise. They usually will make a little pop as you turn them on or just after the don t keep popping. This question would be better asked in electronics as i am sure at least one person there has pulled a bulb apart to see how it works. When i remove a bulb and place it next to my ear the ticking sound continues for about five seconds then slowly fades away to nothing. It really shouldn t be making noise.
