Ceramic Braces Grey Ligatures

These ligatures can stain especially. I work with kids and will hopefully be attending grad school next fall so i wanted my teeth to not be too distracting. The original ceramic braces did tend to stain especially if they were made with cheaper plastic. The ceramic braces of today do not have this problem.

You can request tie wires that do not stain at all. In most cases both the brackets and the elastics on ceramic braces come in transparent or tooth colored colors. However the wire on braces is normally held in place with little rubber bands called ligatures.
